Krishnaraya, 1517 AD . This is dated Saka 1438, Dhatri, Pushya ba . 7, Wednesday, corresponding to AD 1517, 14 January.
These twelve Adityas are described as twelve solar divinities namely Dhatri, Mitra, Aryaman, Rudra, Varuna, Surya, Bhaga, Vivasvan, Pushan, Savitri, Tvastri and Vishnu.
It was his experiences gathered mainly in the rural areas of his district that supplied him the materials and provided him with the basis for writing his famous book in easy Mengali, " Briddha Dhatri Rojnamcha " ( Diary of an old midwife ).
The Self of man is identical with various gods and powers, it is the deities Isana, Sambhu, Bhava, Rudra, Prajapati, Visvarij, Hiranyagarbha, Satyam, Prana, Hamsa, Sastri, Vishnu, Narayana, Arka, Savitri, Dhatri, Vidhatri, Samraj, Indra, Indu and Sun.
According to scriptures, there are seven mothers : atma-mata ( one's own mother ) guroh patni ( the wife of one's teacher ) brahmani ( the wife of a brahmana ) raja-patnika ( the wife of the king ) dhenu ( the cow ) dhatri ( the nurse ) and prthvi ( the Earth ) are all considered mothers.
