1. On this date fast is kept for the whole day and at midnight at 12 o'clock birth ceremony of the child form of Lord Krishna is celebrated,fast is broken by taking the offerings orally, or next day fast is broken in the morning by taking Yogurt - Kalacknd.
   इस तिथि में दिन भर उपवास कर रात्रि बारह बजे पालने में बालक श्रीकृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव मनाया जाता है उसके उपरांत प्रसाद लेकर उपवास खोलते हैं अथवा अगले दिन प्रात: दही-कलाकन्द का प्रसाद लेकर उपवास खोलते हैं।
2. Onthis day people will do fasting during the day time and at 11.00 clock in the night start worshipping and celebrating the birth of Krishna. After that taking prasada they will leave fasting.Or in the morning after taking curd and sugar they will leave the fasting.
