"Passenger of the Rain " is the theme from the 1969 French film " Rider on the Rain " ( or " Le Passager de la Pluie " ).
I found a source in Arte, normally considered a reliable channel, which stated that it was " porti�re passager " which was riddled with bullet holes; although repeated elsewhere, it contradicted later more careful reports.
