   यह आवश्यक था कि देश में सरलता से उपलब्ध नये किस्म के कच्चे माल जैसे खोई , चावल भूसी , बेकार कागज आदि से कागज बनाने की सुविधाओं को देखने के लिए नये नये गहन शोध किये जायें .

   उसके पिता अवश भाव से अँघेरी गली के बीच खड़े थे और चारों ओर देख रहे थे । रह - रहकर उनकी साँस उखड़ जाती थी । आखिर उन्होंने अपने पाँव मोड़ लिये और पानी में बहते तिनके की तरह आगे बढ़ने लगे । उनकी कमर झुक गई थी , मानो इस लज्जास्पद दौड़ के बाद थककर वह बिलकुल बेजान हो गए हों ।
