Xiquilpilco El Viejo ( Old Juiquipilco ) is an unexplored archeological zone with an ancient teocalli or sacred precinct located from the town of Temoaya.
A temple ( " teocalli " ) dedicated to the worship of Huitzilopochtli stood at a location known as " Teopanzolco ".
One of his most celebrated poems was called " En El Teocalli de Cholula, " which explores the universality of nature and immense beauty of indigenous ruins.
