   इसी प्रकार प्रसिद्द डच फिल्म निर्माता थीयो वान गाग के हत्यारे मोहम्मद बावऐरी ने वान गाग के मृत शरीर पर एक पत्र चिपका दिया था जिसमें लिखा था “इस्लाम उन शहीदों के खून से विजयी होगा जिसने पृथ्वी के हर अंधेरे कोने में प्रकाश फैला दिया है ”. मजेदार बात यह है कि जब मुकदमे की सुनवाई के दौरान वान गाग के हत्यारे के लिए हत्या का हेतु कुछ दूसरा बताया गया तो वह बौखला गया और मुकदमे के दौरान ही उसने कहा “ मैंने जो कुछ भी किया है शुद्द रुप से अपने सिद्दांत और अपनी विचारधारा के कारण किया है , मैंने उसकी जान इसलिए नहीं ली कि वह डच था और मै मोरक्को का होने के नाते अपमानित महसूस करता हूं.”.
