Act V's style is mainly mountainous as the player ascends Mount Arreat, with alpine plateaus and ice tunnels / caverns, as well as hellish subterranean pits ( reminiscent of Hell in Act IV ) for extra monsters and experience.
Inspired by the 1999 summer blockbuster " The Mummy, " the curse plunges visitors into the sacred temple of Hamunaptra ( it's the former site of the ice tunnel and later Dante's Peak on previous tours ) where a bunch of flesh devouring scarabs attack the tram.
