   उसके प्यार , सच्चाई , दया , मानवता को समानता का संदेश , समाज के सभी सदस्यों के लिए अनिवार्य कायक का विधान , समाजवादी दृष्टिकोण , गरीबों और शोषितों के Zपित हमदर्दी आदि को बीते हुए युग के आदमी की बातें कहकर टाला नहीं जा सकता .
2. We have to realize . that any big thing that will happen there will affect the larger world to a great extent , and none of us , wherever we may live and whatever national or other allegiance might claim us , can be unaffected by it .
   हमें यह समझना चाहिए कि अगर कोई बड़ी बात वहां होती है , तब उसका असर काफी हद तक दुनिया के अधिकांश भागों पर पड़ेगा और हममें से कोई भी उससे अछूता नहीं रह सकेगा-चाहे हम कहीं भी रहते हों , चाहे हम किसी भी मुल्क के क़्यों न हों या किसी भी मुल्क से हमदर्दी क़्यों न रखते हों .

The intense nationalism of Turkey , Egypt , and Iran was watched by them but not without some apprehension , as it was secular , and was leading to reforms which were not wholly in keeping with their ideas of Islamic traditions .
   मुस्लिम सरकारों की दिलचस्पी फिलिस्तीन में थी और ये संस्थाएं कभी कभी वहां के मुसलामन अरबों के लिए हमदर्दी का प्रस्ताव पास किया करती थीं , ये संस्थाएं तुर्की , मिस्त्र और ईरान की राष्ट्रीय कार्रवाइयों से प्रभावित तो थीं , लेकिन इन्हें शक भी था , जो इस वजह से था कि यह राष्ट्रीयता गैर-मजहबी थी और इस कारण वहां कुछ ऐसे सुधार हो रहे थे , जो इस्लामी परंपरा के बारे में उनकी समझ से मेल नहीं खाते थे .
