In 1989, PSF initiated and supported the Directorate of Education of the Government of Pondicherry in launching the total literacy programme called Puduvai Arivoli Iyakkam ( Movement for light of knowledge ) Pondicherry which later won the prestigious UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize for the best Literacy Programme in 1992 for its content, delivery and concept.
Buildings include the main college building ( divided into Intermediate and Bachelors section ), two library buildings ( Malik Anwar Library and Majeed Amjad Library ), a cafeteria, a recreational building with a swimming pool, two mosques, three hostel buildings ( Jinnah Hall, Iqbal Hall and Fatima Hall ), a building for Directorate of Education Colleges, Sahiwal Division, Sahiwal and a building for Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education ( BISE ) Sahiwal.
The Deans Shiblee College is registered with the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Faisalabad ( B . I . S . E . Faisalabad ) and the Directorate of Education ( Colleges ), Faisalabad for its F . A ., F . Sc ., I . C . S . and I . Com . programmes, and affiliated with the University of the Punjab, Lahore for its B . Com ., B . A . IT, B . Ed ., M . Ed ., M . Com ., M . A . Economics and M . A . Physical Education programmes.
