It is indeed a sad commentary that three-fourths of our fellow citizens have no choice other than to drink filthy water , The severely polluted river courses due to mindless dumping of sewage and industrial wastes are a cause for concern not only to us humans , but to myriads of life forms that exist in water .
यह बहुत दुखद है कि हमारे देश की तीन चौथाई आबादी गंदा पानी पीने को विवश है.बिना सोचे-समझे नदियों में मल जल और औद्योगिक कचरा बहाने से न केवल मानव जीवन के लिए खतरा पैदा हो गया है बल्कि यह पानी में रहने वाले अनेक प्रकार के जीवों के लिए भी चिंता का विषय है.जल प्रदूषण के कारण फ्रांस और इटली की नदियों का गहरे नीले रंग का चमकता साफ पानी अब नजर नहीं आता है .
