   यदि वस्तु मूल्यवान हो तो राजा ब्राह्मण को अंधा कर देते हैं और उसका बायां हाथ तथा दायां पैर या दायां हाथ और बायां पैर काटकर उसे विकलांग कर देते हैं जबकि वे क्षत्रिय को विकलांग तो करते हैं किंतु उसे अंधा नहीं करते और अन्य जातियों के चोरों का वध कर देते हैं .
