De Castro's vocals feature on the singles, " Wichita Lineman " ( January 1971 ) by King Harvest, " Heading in the Right Direction " ( August 1975 ) by Johnny Rocco Band, " Suspicious Minds " ( June 1979 ) by Leo de Castro and Babylon.
Although not mentioned as a live recording in the liner notes, " Rumba Mam?" ( a percussion and vocals feature for Manolo Badrena and Alex Acu�a ) was recorded at the band's concert in Montreux in summer 1976, of which a film would be released on DVD in 2007.
It features guest appearances from Diamond D ( production on five tracks plus two vocal features ), Roc Marciano, Prince Po ( of Organized Konfusion ), Lord Tariq, Rob-O ( Pete Rock / INI ), The Legion, DJ LKB, Kazi ( Stones Throw / Madlib ), El Da Sensei, Truth Enola, Presto, 12 Finger Dan, Frank Nitt ( of Frank-N-Dank ) and Wise Intelligent.
He worked with Bob Bryden's Louisville Band for a time in 1928-9, and with pianist Archie Alexander in Brighton, then joined the Billy Cotton band at the end of 1929, a move which provided him with a more prominent platform, both on the concert stage and also on radio, and allowed him to record his first jazz solos and vocal features ( which included scat singing ).
