The condition of the parastyle more closely resembles that in " Afrotarsius ".
The tooth bears a strong parastyle ( accessory cusp at the front labial corner ) and has three roots.
Its dental characteristics could be described from the " P . kelyus " subfossil maxilla fragment, showing a crista obliqua, a parastyle and a highly developed mesostyle.
The parastyle is also less developed than in " Eosimias ", but the protocone, the main cusp on the lingual side of the tooth, is more expansive.
The parastyle, a small cusp in the outer front corner of the tooth, is located more buccally ( towards the outer side of the tooth ) than in " Afrotarsius " and is larger.
