   इसके अलावा नि : शेष अर्थात रात्रि का अधिपति , नक्षत्रनाथ अर्थात नक्षत्रों का स्वामी , द्विजेश्वर अर्थात् ब्राह्मणों का स्वामी , शीतांशु अर्थात शीत किरणवाला क़्योंकि चंद्रमा का मंडल जलीय है जो पृथ्वी के लिए वरदान है .
