1. Members of Parliament Qualification for Membership : Article 83 lays down the qualifications for membership of the two Houses of Parliament .
   संसद-सदस्य सदस्यता के लिए अर्हता : अनुच्छेद 83 में संसद के दोनों सदनों की सदस्यता संबंधी अर्हताओं का उपबंध है .
2. A person other than a Member of Parliament may also be appointed as Minister , but he has to vacate the office after six months unless , in the meanwhile , he manages to get himself elected to either of the two Houses .
   संसद-सदस्य से भिन्न किसी व्यक्ति को भी मंत्री नियुक्त किया जा सकता है लेकिन छह मास के बाद उसे पद छोड़ना होगा , यदि वह इस बीच दोनों में से किसी सदन का सदस्य चुने जाने का प्रबंध नहीं कर लेता .

   प्रत्येक सदन का पीठासीन अधिकारी या कोई अधिकारी या संसद-सदस्य जिनमें अस्थायी रूप में प्रक्रिया या कार्य-संचालन को विनियमित करने की तथा संसद के किसी सदन के निर्णय को लागू करने की शक्तियां निहित हों , इन शक्तियों के प्रयोग के विषय में किसी न्यायालय की अधिकारिता के अधीन नहीं होगा [अनुच्छेद 122 ( 2 ) तथा 105 ( 3 ) ] .
