He participated in " Tulabharam " play of Sthanam Narasimha Rao before Jawaharlal Nehru in New Delhi in 1952.
He shifted to the Dramatic field and acted with Vemuri Gaggayya and Sthanam Narasimha Rao in the plays " Jarasandha ", " Sarangadhara " and " Tulabaram ".
While he was playing with Sthanam Narasimha Rao and C . S . R . Anjaneyulu, eminent film director Chitrapu Narayana Murthy was impressed by his performance and invited him to act in his film " Mohini Rugmangada " in 1937.
