It was only in the beginning of the present century that motives and interests which were not even remotely connected with religion used the magic of its name to set the common man Hindu and Muslim against each other and started the series of riots leading to the vivisection -LRB- for that is the only proper word to describe the cutting up of a living organism -RRB- of India .
