अभी यह कहना अत्यंत शीघ्रता होगी कि इस क्रांति में यह व्यवहार कैसे आया और यह कहाँ जायेगा लेकिन यह आज की सुखद सच्चाई है। अब सैन्य नेतृत्व का यह दायित्व है कि इसे अंजाम तक ले जाये। तीन लोगों पर विशेष निगाह होगी, उपराष्ट्रपति उमर सुलेमान, रक्षा मंत्री मोहम्मद हुसैन तंतावी और चीफ आफ स्टाफ सामी हफीज एनान। हम शीघ्र ही देखेंगे कि क्या सैन्य नेतृत्व ने कुछ सीखा है और परिपक्व हुआ है और यदि यह स्वीकार कर सके कि अपने स्वार्थी हितों के लिये काम करना पतन को ही आमन्त्रित करेगा।
