U . S . paleontologists Henry Fairfield Osborn and Roy C . Andrews discovered two premolars on the site in 1923, and assigned the specimen to the new genus " Eudinoceras " because he believed it to be related to " " Dinoceras " " ( now known as " Uintatherium " ).
